This Howden XRV 127 R3 is a new, unused screw compressor block, supplied in its original crate from the Howden factory. It is the XRV 127 R3 frame, the smallest Howden block in stock, with adjustable Vi control.

Design

The XRV 127 R3 is an oil-injected rotary screw compressor with parallel male and female rotors for smooth compression. It uses adjustable or automatic Vi control, with ratios between 2.6:1 and 5.0:1, so the block can be tuned for efficiency across a wide range of operating conditions.

The block is built with precision-machined rotors and roller bearings. That reduces maintenance and supports a long service life.
