Used Daikin EWAQ320 Air-Cooled Chiller, 320 kW, 2016

This used Daikin EWAQ320 is a 320 kW air-cooled chiller built in 2016. Stock number CC23/1226. It is in good running condition.

Four scroll compressors run across two independent refrigerant circuits on R410A. The evaporator is a plate heat exchanger. Condenser coils are copper and aluminium.

At 320 kW, the chiller covers around 91 tons of refrigeration.

Two circuits

Independent circuits mean the unit holds partial cooling if one circuit is isolated for service. For a site that cannot take a full shutdown, that is the difference between a planned service visit and lost production.

Four compressors across those two circuits also give closer capacity control at part load than a two compressor machine.
